Dunkin Donuts is trying to kill us all...

Holy shit! I mean, seriously, America? This seems like a good idea to you guys? I mean, the McGriddle was pretty insane, but lets face it, if McDonald's though they could sell you the McLard sandwich, you know damn well they would.

Dunkin Donuts looked pretty responsible as of late. Multigrain options, then those flatbread egg-white sammiches, they were a pretty good option. Now we have a vehicle that is normally used to deliver either syrup or ice cream (if they of the Belgian variety) to bring even more artery clogging mayhem to the portly populace of 'Merica.

I mean, we were Goddamn stupid enough to invent this monstrosity, so I put nothing past us...

Not really any worse than a Egg McMuffin...

If you have the biscuit version of the Egg McMuffin it is nutritionally worse than the waffle thing. None of those bread options (and lets face it, waffles are a bread) are really any good for you. Look at DD's website and you'll see that the same sandwich on a bagel has 140 more calories. (Although less from fat.) Only the English muffin versions has less calories and fat.

Third time is the charm?

Not really any worse than an Egg McMuffin.

If you look at DD's menu, you'll see that all other 'bread' choices for the sandwich except for English Muffin are higher calorie and sometimes even more fat than the waffle version. The bagel version has 140 more calories!

Gilbert, my comment section is moderated so as to cut down on the super annoying Chinese spam I was getting. Anyhow, none of these options are great, but at least with the bagel, if you got wheat or whole grain, you'd get less fat and more fiber.

I'm a guy who eats granola cereal and Special K (well the ALDI brand anyhow) for breakfast nowadays anyhow.

I'm just saying that it is a whole lot better for ya than a croissantwich or whatever. (Like 150+ cals and like 100mg fat better)

So not that unusual.

I think I realized the moderation only after it was too late.

I'm a fan of TJ's quick cook steel cut oats or Kashi's mini wheats myself although I am currently finishing a box of strawberry frosted mini wheats from Kelloggs.
